ArcelorMittal Orbit

Designed by sculptor Sir Anish Kapoor and engineer Cecil Balmond, the ArcelorMittal Orbit is one of the most striking and enduring visual legacies of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It currently stands as the UK’s tallest sculpture, where you can enjoy spectacular views of London.

Sponsor an Orphan for a Year

For children in developing countries, often a lack of opportunity to break out of a cycle of poverty means access to education, food and medical care are not guaranteed. At Muslim Hands, we firmly believe education is a doorway out of poverty as it empowers individuals to not only build a better future for themselves but also for their families.

Through Abseil the Orbit, you will fundraise £354 that will go towards your very own annual orphan sponsorship with Muslim Hands. Here you will be allocated an orphan from our Orphan Sponsorship programme, in one of our 20 locations and receive a feedback report. The funds will provide the orphan you are sponsoring access to a free education, daily nutritious meals, regular health checks and much more.
