Walk For The Children Of War 2021

Register Children of War
Event Finished
This Ramadan, join us in walking 5km virtually to support the children of Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Kashmir and the Rohingya. By walking for Children of War, you will help provide 840 iftar meals for two families during Ramadan!

In war zones and communities affected by conflict, hunger and starvation are an ever present threat and children are most at risk of malnutrition and illness.

The Prophet (saw) said, ‘He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbour to his side goes hungry’
(Abu Dawud). Join us and provide life-saving food parcels and clean drinking water to the Children of War.

What is Walk For The Children Of War?

For the past few years in Ramadan, families from all over the country have come together in cities across the UK and taken part in the 5km sponsored walk for Children of War.

This year, you can join us virtually from wherever you are in the UK.

Keep an eye out for more details!

Support The Children Of War

In a world of plenty, no child should be suffering from the crippling effects of hunger.

But this is the reality for many Rohingya, Syrian, Yemeni, Afghan and Kashmiri children who do not know where their next meal will come from.

Q. How much do I need to raise?

A. Each participant must raise a minimum of £200 or raise £400 as a family of 4. However, we are hoping that our enthusiastic participants aim for a more ambitious individual fundraising target.

Q. How can I volunteer?

A. You will need to complete our online Volunteer registration form, in order to volunteer with Muslim Hands. Upon completion, one of our Volunteer Coordinators will be in touch with details on how you can get involved.

Q. Where will this event take place?

A. You can take part by doing the walk in your own local parks, whichever city you may reside in.
