This year, we are fundraising to repair broken homes in Gaza as well as support vulnerable families living in poverty. Once more, we invite you to walk 5 miles to show your support for this incredibly important cause.

We will be heading to three cities across the UK in February 2022, bringing more families together to raise money for Gaza. So make sure you don't miss out on this event!

The Cause: Repairing Homes in Gaza

In May 2021, the people of Gaza experienced its worst conflict since 2014. 113,000 people were displaced during this time and thousands of homes were also damaged.

Working with our partner, UNWRA, we are repairing the severely damaged homes of refugee families in Gaza. Your fundraising efforts will help them recover from the devastating impact of the conflict in May.

Moreover, we are also providing vulnerable families with the essential support they urgently need this winter. According to the UN, 48% of people in Gaza are borrowing money to afford food. Your donations will lift the burdens from their shoulders, ensuring they can access food, warm clothes and medicine.

We cannot do this without your help. Register for our Gaza Winter Walk today to support this important cause.

Serving the People of Gaza for 14 Years

Ma sha Allah, thanks to your continued support, we've completed 13 Gaza Winter Walks! Over the years, your generosity has funded some amazing projects, including:

• Establishing the Psychological Rehabilitation Programme, which helps thousands of children suffering from trauma, anxiety and other mental health problems
• Rebuilding the Al-Durrah Hospital, which was destroyed by conflict
• Partnering with UNRWA to provide ante-natal and post-natal care and equipment to 132,000 Palestinian refugee women
• Building large-scale water purification systems to combat water shortages in Gaza

These are just a few of the ways in which you've made a difference. On behalf of Muslim Hands and the people of Gaza, we'd like to say a big thank you! Don't forget to register for our 14th Gaza Winter Walk.
