Right now, 830 mothers a day are dying from preventable causes (WHO). Our Motherkind maternal health campaign provides women in Afghanistan and Somalia, two of the most high-risk countries around the world, with comprehensive pre-natal and post-natal care.

Our local clinics provide trained midwives, dedicated delivery suites, vaccination programmes, medicines and vitamins as well as awareness-raising sessions on everything from nutrition to hygiene. Our Afghanistan clinic alone assists around 360,000 people each year. 

Your Sadaqah and Zakat donations can help provide a share in the construction of a brand new Motherkind clinic. The new clinic will treat at least 50 patients a day in the Kahda District IDP camp, Mogadishu. This will see the delivery of between 15-20 babies a month, in sha Allah.
