Devastating flooding has rocked eastern Libya as a result of storm Daniel which brought an unprecedented amount of water, overwhelming dams to collapse taking everything in its wake. 

When the tsunami like torrent of water hit it destroyed much of the local infrastructure, including medical centres and hospitals. Now, as flood survivors are picking up the pieces of their lives, they do not have the capability of receiving treatment for the various water borne diseases that threaten their lives. 

£1,000 will build a medical centre and provide a space for trained medical staff to treat flood survivors from potentially deadly water borne diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, typhoid and more.
