Yemen Water Fund
Described by the UN as the 'worst man-made humanitarian crisis of our time', the war in Yemen has turned a poor country into a humanitarian catastrophe.
Already one of the most water-scarce countries in the world, the destruction of so much of the country's infrastructure has left a massive 18 million people without access to safe water and sanitation. This water crisis has led to cholera outbreaks and increased malnutrition, with children being the most vulnerable.
Our water projects include rehabilitating water wells and water infrastructure, supplying thousands of families in Lahj, Ta'iz, Ma'rib, Aden and Abyan with clean drinking water round-the-clock. Our latest project will improve water supply for 1.7 million people, by rehabilitating the water network in Aden.
We are currently fundraising to rehabilitate the water network in Ma'rib. Every £1 will provide water for life to 3 people! Give now to save lives in Yemen.
