  • Location: Various locations in rural areas of Niger
  • Beneficiaries: Approximately 600 people
  • At the moment in these villages, clean water is not available. Locals are having to travel far for water, and often they must buy the water from a private water source.
  • This borehole will also help to reduce water-related diseases.
  • The borehole will be equipped with solar panels, a solar pump and a water tanker (picture to the left is an example). The tank will be connected to a number of taps.
  • Some of the villagers will be trained in how to manage and sustain the borehole.
  • Depth: Approximately 50 metres or more
