Rush Urgent Supplies to Gaza
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, 'Adhere to Shaam, for it is Allah’s best land, to which He selects His best servants...' [Abu Dawud]
Deadly attacks on Gaza have claimed the lives of over 11,000 Palestinians, 4,600 of those being children. Hospitals across the Gaza strip are under immense pressure to aid all the survivors that have been subject to airstrikes since October 7. Currently, over 28,000 people have been injured and over 1.6 million people driven from their homes.
Due to the blockade imposed on Gaza since October 7, supplies of fuel are almost exhausted. There are also shortages of food, water, and medicines, as the number of aid trucks crossing into Gaza each day is less than one fifth of what the UN says is needed. Prior to this escalation in conflict, 68 percent of Palestinians lived below the poverty line and had come to rely on humanitarian aid from organisations like Muslim Hands.
Alhamdulillah, we have been able to partner with UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which has been instrumental in providing lifesaving treatment and nutrition to the people of Gaza over the years.
Our partner, who tragically have lost 102 members of their staff in the bombardment of Gaza since October 7, are currently caring for 795,000 displaced people in central and Southern Gaza.
Families in Gaza have been struggling since the 16-yearlong blockade was placed and were further devastated by attacks in Ramadan 2021 and again in Ramadan 2022 and Ramadan 2023. With your support, we can ensure that displaced families get more of the food, water and medicines they so desperately need.
Give hope to the people of Palestine with your Sadaqah and Zakat.
