Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal - Updates from the Ground
Usman Ali, the Country Manager for Muslim Hands Turkey is on the ground in Kahramanmaras, one of the most affected areas hit by the earthquakes in the early hours of Monday morning. Alhamdulillah, Usman and the rest of the team on the ground have been giving out emergency supplies to those that have lost everything.
In this video, Usman shows the devasation that these earthquakes have caused, but also the urgent need for more supplies and donations as people desperately queue to receive lifesaving aid:
Your donations have allowed us to distribute hot meals, water and warm clothes and blankets. Not only have these earthquakes destroyed over 600 buildings but as temperatures reach as low as -6 degrees Celsius, the ice and snow makes survival that much harder for the victims.
