Video Tour: Inside a Winterised Tent in Gaza
Most buildings in Gaza have been destroyed - or at least damaged - forcing countless families to live in conditions that would horrify any of us. Rain carries contaminated water into fragile tents, exposing families to diseases and exacerbating their struggles under winter's cold grasp.
Despite the ‘ceasefire’ in Gaza, reconstruction still feels like a distant reality. What can we do to help displaced families in the meantime?
We have partnered with the IOM to distribute winterised tents that can keep out the cold, rain and filthy water.
Our colleague, Imran visited our partner’s Jordan-based warehouse in January. Watch the video tour below to see the massive difference a winterised tent can have.
For families who have already lost everything, a winterised tent isn’t a luxury – it’s a matter of survival and dignity.
Donate £100 today to help us provide winterised tents that are better equipped to handle these harsh conditions.
You can also give one tent for £600 to shelter one family or donate ANY AMOUNT to help with what you can, and so families aren’t sleeping beside sewage, waste and disease.
We are working with our UN aid agency partners on the ground to deliver winterised tents to the families who need them most. Keep the water and cold out.
