Qurbani Journey Pt Four: The Distribution
For many families in developing countries, Eid may be the only time of the year they eat meat. At Muslim Hands, we identify those communities in greatest need before the days of Eid, to ensure these families won’t go hungry on these blessed days.
In Malawi, we met mothers like Khadija and Mrs Saeedi who walked over 12 miles in the early morning to pick up their Qurbani donations in order to feed their families. Walking for three hours to our distribution centre was their only chance of receiving Qurbani meat across the days of Eid.
This is why your donations are so important. Your Qurbani makes the holy days of Eid a joyous and happy time for impoverished families and enables them to have a nutritious meal.
Make your sacrifice for the sake of Allah (swt). Donate today and start your Qurbani journey from just £35.
