Statement from Muslim Hands Following the Terrorist Attacks in New Zealand Mosques
The staff, trustees and volunteers at Muslim Hands are shocked and horrified at the mass shooting that took the lives of 49 worshippers attending Jummah prayers in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. We would like to express our sincerest condolences to the families of all those affected by this act of hate.
We ask that you remember the victims in your Friday prayers and pray that Allah grants them the highest ranks of heaven in this blessed month of Rajab. We also pray that Allah gives their families and loved ones patience and strength at this difficult time, Ameen.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and we wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
We stand united in condemning this terrorist attack and all forms of violence and pray for peace across the world.
