Our Global Emergency Lead is in Syria Distributing Your Donations
Dr. Basel Alkhder, Global Emergency Lead for Muslim Hands and Syrian native is in Jindires, a town in northern Syria. He is distributing your donations to the vulnerable families that were affected by the devastating earthquakes that hit Syria one month ago.
In this video, Basel speaks with Milad, a father of four and internally displaced person (IDP). When the earthquakes struck, Milad lost both his mother-in-law and sister-in-law when a building fell on their tent.
Over 8.8 million people in northern Syria were affected by the earthquakes, many of whom were already displaced by the Syrian civil war. Your donations have allowed us to distribute emergency relief to families that have been left with nothing. We have also been able to increase capacity in our Afrin bread factory to produce 20,000 more loaves of bread every day.
We now need your support urgently to reach even more vulnerable families. Donate today towards our lifesaving bread factory in Afrin to provide daily bread to survivors of the earthquakes. As well as that, you can gift a family a new winter tent, that it more durable, has more space, and more facilities.
Give now to help us support survivors in Syria.
