Sponsor a Hifz Student and Earn Endless Rewards.

By sponsoring a Hifz student, you are helping a child in need while gaining the reward of teaching the Qur’an. Your support allows disadvantaged children to memorise the Qur’an, opening doors to Islamic scholarship and future roles as teachers and Imams.

Sponsoring a Hifz student is a unique opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah. By spreading beneficial knowledge and nurturing righteous children, you earn continuous reward long after your support. Who could be more deserving of our help than the child who has no one?

Why Sponsor a Hifz Student?

“When a person dies, their good deeds come to an end, except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who will pray for them.” (Bukhari)

“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari)

Q. What will I receive as a sponsor?

A. Throughout your time as a sponsor, we’ll continue to send you regular updates on the progress of your sponsored child.

Q. How long is the Hifz sponsorship programme?

A. Hifz sponsorship is a three to six-year programme, depending on individuals memorising ability. After which, the child will be in a much better position to seek employment or to teach others.

Q. How can I send a gift to my sponsored child?

A. Call our donation line on 0115 911 7222 and tell us that you would like to send a gift to your sponsored child. You will need to provide the child's ID and their country. This information can be found on your sponsorship pack, but if you can’t find the details, a member of our team can help.

Q. Can I visit them myself?

A. Visits cannot be made directly to the student’s home or Madrassa in line with our Muslim Hands Policy. For safety purposes, we will not give out any personal information, such as the child’s address or telephone number.

If you would like to visit your child, please contact us three months prior to your visit either by emailing your request to mail@muslimhands.org.uk or by calling 0115 911 7222. You will need to provide dates on when you intend to visit and our team will facilitate the visit.

Q. Can I contact the sponsored child?

A. Yes, you can via a written letter, email or greeting card. You should email a copy of the letter or card as an attachment to sponsorship@muslimhands.org.uk. We will ensure that your correspondence reaches them. However, we cannot always guarantee a reply as we leave the choice to write back with the child.

Q. Am I the only donor of my sponsored Hifz Student?

A. There might be more than one donor associated with the Hifz student. The reason for this is to ensure that your sponsored student receives the best quality education and services in their respective locations.

Q. What happens to my sponsorship if the child I sponsor leaves sponsorship program?

A. We are committed to transparency and will inform you if the child you sponsor is no longer part of the program. This may happen if the child completes Hifz, moves away, the charity concludes its work in the area, the unfortunate event of the child’s passing or other relevant reasons which may cause them to leave the sponsorship programme.
In such cases, you will typically be offered the opportunity to sponsor another child in need or redirect your support to the Hifz fund. You will always be kept informed and given options that reflect your ongoing commitment to making a difference.
