Muslim Hands is recruiting an Events and Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of the Young Muslim Writers Awards 2019. The Young Muslim Writers Awards is one Muslim Hands’ UK projects and supports the charity’s work in delivering education to children. This year marks an exciting time for the project with the 9th annual competition, the outreach work in the UK, and a visit to one of Muslim Hands’ international schools for Writer of the Year 2018. The annual writing competition and the workshops celebrate and nurture the creativity of young writers and culminate in an exciting awards ceremony to be held in November 2019.
Muslim Hands is looking for an Events & Marketing Assistant to support the Project Manager to organise and deliver the annual awards ceremony in Autumn/Winter 2019 and contribute towards the outreach projects and international trip. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing key tasks within marketing and event organisation. You will have the opportunity to achieve valuable insight into the literary and marketing industries whilst gaining first-hand event coordination experience. Working from our London office, you will provide essential support to the Project Manager, taking ownership on key tasks of the project.
