The Prophet (saw) said, ‘The best of men are the men of Yemen, belief is Yemeni, and I am Yemeni’. (Ahmad)

He (saw) also said, ‘For me to walk to for my brother’s need is better for me than secluding in worship in this Masjid of mine for a month.’ (Qada-ul-Hawaij)

We're inviting you to a blessed opportunity - to walk for the needs of our war-torn brothers and sisters in Yemen.

Join us on Saturday 31st October in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and walk 5 miles to raise funds for our Yemen bread factories, providing life-saving bread daily to the blessed people of Yemen.

Fundraising target: £100 – which produces 2,800 loaves of bread, feeding 1,400 people.

The Cause

The ongoing conflict is devastating already impoverished communities. Millions have been displaced and Yemen is on the brink of famine. Now, the coronavirus pandemic is threatening vulnerable families even more, with half of all health facilities damaged or unable to function.

With your help, we’ve been distributing food parcels, providing school meals, and setting up mobile health clinics in rural areas. We are also constructing water wells and rehabilitating existing ones to provide vulnerable communities with safe water.

The people of Yemen were directly blessed by the Prophet Muhammad (saw) - but these blessed people are currently suffering from ‘the worst man-made humanitarian crisis of our time’

Yemen Bread Factories

Our plans for the coming year include establishing two bread factories in Aden and Ma'rib, to feed 3,000 people each every day. The bread factory in Aden will open on 12th September 2020.

These factories will target internally displaced, disabled and child-headed households. They will also create job opportunities and a steady income for those who work at the factories with the hope that the project will continue for the foreseeable future in other locations.

Currently, two out of every three Yemenis can't afford to buy food. They are reliant on our help to survive. Sign up to Walk For Yemen and raise awareness and funds.
