Rising almost 20,000 feet Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa, and has been nick named “the roof of Africa”. Set across the stunning Serengeti plains, participants can expect to encounter anything from rainforests, moorland, alpine deserts and glaciers.
That is why Muslim Hands has been focused on providing an accessible and high quality level of education for the children of Sub-Saharan Africa since 2003.
Sudan, Niger, Mali, Senegal, Mauritania and Gambia. In total we have 11 schools in these countries and support over 4420 impoverished children.
All the facilities we offer the children are free. As well as having their school fees covered, children are given textbooks, exercise books, stationary and uniforms.
Sponsored orphans are provided with nutritional meals, medical checkups and transportation to school.
