Syria and Yemen Bread Factory

Our teams are currently running six bread factories in the blessed Lands: in north Aden, south Aden, north Ma’rib, south Ma’rib and Seiyun in Yemen, as well as in Afrin in Syria. They are providing 100,000 loaves of daily bread across Yemen and Syria to tackle hunger and malnutrition.

How You Can Help

Your donations will provide thousands of people with daily fresh bread, alleviate hunger and give stability to displaced and vulnerable families.

£120 will feed 1,680 people which equals to 3,360 loaves of bread.

The Prophet (saw) said, ‘O Allah bless us in our Shaam! O Allah bless us in our Yemen!’ [Tirmidhi]

Q. Who can take part in the Tree Top Challenge?

A. All ages from 16 and above are welcome, however, restrictions do apply such as anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Q. What are the registration requirements?

A. You must complete the registration form and complete the registration fee payment of £25 to secure your space.
Once your space is secured, we ask you fundraise a minimum of £120. However, we are hoping that our enthusiastic fundraisers aim for a more pioneering individual target.

Q. What should I wear?

A. We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather so bring along a mac if it’s raining! You need to make sure you have the correct footwear with closed toe and heel (with flat soles), no sandals or slip-off shoes. Your stomach area will need to be covered and long hair must be tied back.

Q. Will Muslim Hands provide transport?

A. All participants will need to make their own way to the location as Muslim Hands will not provide transportation. We will try to find you other participants travelling from near you to car pool if possible.

Q. Is it safe?

A. Whilst there is inevitably a small risk of injury when undertaking such activities, all participants receive a safety briefing from a trained instructor at the start and any risk of injury has been minimised to the best of our ability. Go Ape is fully insured, we hold £10m of public liability insurance covering all of its courses.

Q. What happens in bad weather?

A. Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Sometimes, unfortunately, we might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
