The O2 Challenge

‘Up at the O2' officially opened on 21 June 2012, involving an expedition across the roof of the O2 along a 190m long tensile fabric walkway.

The halfway central platform offers a spectacular 360° view of the city, before the descent down to the base of the venue on the other side.

From the platform, visitors can see the Olympic Park, Thames Barrier, The Shard, Historic Royal Greenwich and Canary Wharf.

Children of Malawi

Ranked as the 18th least developed country in the world, Malawi faces many challenges including high illiteracy rates, inadequate access to medical care and a lack of financial resources.

Alhamdulillah, our School of Excellence in the Chiradzulu, established in 2010, provides free high quality education for 187 pupils. However, urgent renovation work is required. Poor and inadequate access to facilities can have a detrimental impact on children's physical, emotional and psychological health so renovating the playground and boundary fences is of immediate priority.

What's more, although medical care is free in Malawi, as 85% of the population live in rural areas and cannot afford the high cost of transportation, many people do not receive any heath care. Our monthly medical clinic bridges this gap by providing basic primary care offered by qualified professionals to approximately 4,200 patients per year.

Help us to renovate the School of Excellence and run the Medical Clinic for the coming year and offer a happy, healthy and brighter future for children in Malawi.
