From the UK to various locations abroad

Over the past 3 years, groups of Muslim Hands volunteers from across the UK have travelled abroad to get involved in our educational, water, health, community and livelihood projects on the ground. Here are our volunteer accounts of their experiences:

‘My time there was one of the most amazing times of my life. Staying at the complex was a blast, the people, the orphanage and the food more than exceeded my expectations.’ Ruhul Amin Akhand, Volunteer in Pakistan 2016

‘I feel truly blessed to be part of an eye-opening and heart warming trip. I would advise people to go on such a trip at least once in their lifetime.’
Sidra Raoof Chaudry, Volunteer in Kashmir 2017

‘Going out there and seeing the work that’s done by the locals and the charity has given me a wake-up call and a dose of reality. I can truly say that it is by far the best week of my life and I would recommend it to anyone to go out there and experience what I have experienced!’
Juweyria Abdullahi, Volunteer in West Africa 2018

Q. Who can take part?

A. Anyone over the age of 18 who is looking for a unique experience can take part. The group size will be approximately 20-25 individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Willingness to work as part of a team is important and this is an opportunity to make friends for life. So if you have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and want the challenge of both fundraising and visiting our various projects on the ground, this could be the adventure of a lifetime for you!

Q. What do I need to do to take part?

A. To secure your place you must pay a non-refundable registration fee upon registration. All participants are also required to fundraise towards a fixed target, that will support one of our projects.
You will receive further information about the exact costs and requirements, when the opportunities are live.

Q. Who do I contact for more information?

A. For any queries or concerns, please contact the Events Team at mail@muslimhands.org.uk

If you have any questions or would like further information please contact us.

We will aim to reply within 2 working days, but it can take a little longer during busy times.
