Muslim Hands have been running volunteer abroad opportunities for a number of years, giving individuals from across the UK the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the less fortunate in countries all over the world.
As a participant you also get the chance to see our various projects on the ground, within education, healthcare, mosques, water projects and more.
Be the first to hear about the exciting opportunities we have coming and register your interest today.
Over the past 3 years, groups of Muslim Hands volunteers from across the UK have travelled abroad to get involved in our educational, water, health, community and livelihood projects on the ground. Here are our volunteer accounts of their experiences:
‘My time there was one of the most amazing times of my life. Staying at the complex was a blast, the people, the orphanage and the food more than exceeded my expectations.’ Ruhul Amin Akhand, Volunteer in Pakistan 2016
‘I feel truly blessed to be part of an eye-opening and heart warming trip. I would advise people to go on such a trip at least once in their lifetime.’
Sidra Raoof Chaudry, Volunteer in Kashmir 2017
‘Going out there and seeing the work that’s done by the locals and the charity has given me a wake-up call and a dose of reality. I can truly say that it is by far the best week of my life and I would recommend it to anyone to go out there and experience what I have experienced!’
Juweyria Abdullahi, Volunteer in West Africa 2018
