About Velocity

Velocity is ‘the nearest thing to flying’. As well as being the longest zip line in Europe it is also the fastest in the world.

This adrenaline fuelled attraction offers visitors a unique experience. With a mile, long zip line reaching speeds in excess of 100mph, riders will have a birds-eye view of the historic Bangor slate quarry and the spectacular North Wales coastline and beyond.

Yemen Bread Factory

‘The worst man-made humanitarian crisis of our time’ - UN.

The war in Yemen has turned a poor country into a humanitarian catastrophe. Currently 22 million Yemeni families lack access to food, health care and safe water and can only rely on food aid alone. This number is only set to rise.

We have established three bread factories - in north Aden, south Aden and Ma’rib - which are feeding thousands of people every day. Our team is launching two more factories across Yemen (in Ta’iz and Seiyun), alhamdulillah. Give now to help us combat the growing hunger and famine in Yemen.

£50 – feeds 700 people (produces 1,400 loaves of bread)
£100 – feeds 1,400 people (produces 2,800 loaves of bread)
£250 – feeds 3,500 people (produces 7,000 loaves of bread)
£500 – feeds 7,000 people (produces 14,000 loaves of bread)
£1,000 – feeds 14,000 people (produces 28,000 loaves of bread)
