The Llanberis Path is Snowdonia’s most favoured trail. Every year, over 600,000 adventurers conquer the summit of Yr Wyddfa, making it the go-to route for both climbing pros and first-timers. It’s the longest route, but don’t worry – it’s a gentle, scenic climb that’s perfect for all fitness levels.

So lace up your boots, bring your sense of adventure, and let’s make some amazing memories together on this epic journey, all for a great cause!

About the cause

Suhayb ibn Sinan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of you are those who feed others.”

Donate today to provide hot cooked meals to displaced families in Gaza:

£250 – provides 250 cooked meals, £500 – provides 500 cooked meals, £1,000 – provides 1,000 cooked meals

Everyone in Gaza is hungry, roughly 2.2 million people, are at crisis levels or worse. There is a risk of famine if intense hostilities and restricted humanitarian access persist or worsen. We are partnering with the World Food Programme (WFP) to help provide hot and nutritious meals throughout Gaza to households with especially vulnerable members and those living in especially dire and challenging situations.

These hot meals will be provided to displaced people in informal shelters and camps, people with disabilities, women, and children in the most congested areas with limited cooking facilities. Special emphasis will be placed on scaling up meal distributions in the northern parts of the Gaza Strip, where access has been especially challenging.

Each meal contains a minimum of 1,500 calories. These meals will include rice, pasta, pulses, local vegetables, and livestock wherever possible.

Q. Who can take part in the Snowdon Challenge?

A. The Snowdon Challenge is open to anyone who is fit and able to walk. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is open to brothers and sisters.

Q. What are the registration requirements?

A. You must complete the registration form and complete the registration fee payment of £40 to secure your space.
The fundraising target is £350. However, we are hoping that our enthusiastic participants aim for a more ambitious individual fundraising target!

Q. What should I wear?

A. Please dress in your warmest clothes, with optional layers that are easy to put on and take off. Temperatures can vary, but the higher you get the colder it will become. Please ensure your footwear is comfortable and ideally weatherproof.

We advise the following: walking/hiking boots, trekking stick (especially for the descent), wind/waterproof jacket, thick socks, ruck sack, a pair of extra socks, hiking trousers (avoid jeans as they do not dry quickly, should it rain), spare jumper, gloves, a watch and a sunhat/sunglasses.

Q. What should I bring?

A. A bottle of water is recommended. Snacks, such as fruit, will be provided on the coaches. However, we strongly recommend you bring extra snacks to last throughout the day.
A meal will be provided upon completion. It is advisable that you ensure your mobile phone is fully charged, in case we need to contact you.

A head torch is extremely necessary.

Q. Are the walking routes difficult?

A. We will be climbing the Llanberis Track as this is the easiest, having a steady incline but not quite the shortest path. The path is well sign posted from the parking area and follows a track for 10 miles up until the summit.
