Why Give Your Qurbani Through Muslim Hands?

Muslim Hands

At Muslim Hands, we take the responsibility of giving Qurbani very seriously. We understand the importance of making this holy sacrifice for the sake of Allah (swt) and the benefit it can bring to entire communities. Every step of the way on the Qurbani journey, we ensure that we follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw), and maximise support to local families.

Here’s how we ensure that your Qurbani provides the most benefit:

1. Supporting local families

From the moment you make your donation, we work within local communities to ensure that your Qurbani helps as many people as possible, sourcing everything locally. We buy all of our animals from local farmers and employ local animal herders and caretakers to look after them, ensuring that each and every animal is kept healthy and happy. This provides essential livelihoods to local families in the weeks leading up to Eid al-Adha, not simply food aid on Eid itself.

2. Locations to suit every budget

With Qurbani available in 38 countries across the globe from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, there’s plenty of choice to suit every budget, ensuring that everyone can make a vital difference to local communities in need, from famine-struck Somalia to war-torn Gaza.

3. Non-frozen, non-tinned meat

All of our Qurbani meat is fresh: we do not provide any frozen or tinned meat.

4. Stun free sacrifice

All animals are sacrificed according to traditional Sunnah methods of slaughter. We do not stun any of our animals.

5. Tackling hunger

On the days of Eid itself, we ensure that your donation reaches those who need it most. Our dedicated teams on the ground identity families in need of your Qurbani and work to ensure as many people as possible benefit from it.

6. Sacrifice after Eid salah

All sacrifices are made after Eid salah, following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (saw), as verified in the hadith: ‘Whoever offers a sacrifice after the prayer has completed his rituals (of Eid) and has followed the way of the Muslims.’ (Bukhari)

7. Meat distribution on Eid

Having identified those in greatest need of your support, we distribute our fresh, high-quality meat after Eid salah, allowing families to enjoy the joyous days of Eid with their loved ones with a home cooked, protein-packed meal.

As you can see, by giving your Qurbani through Muslim Hands, you’ll not only be feeding widows, orphans and impoverished families with fresh, high-quality meat on the days of Eid, but you’ll also support farmers, shepherds and animal caretakers along the way. That’s what makes Qurbani with Muslim Hands so special.

With prices from as little as £35, donate today to start your Qurbani journey and make your sacrifice for the sake of Allah (swt).
