On the Ground: Your Donations in Afghanistan

Muslim Hands

In Afghanistan, at least 160 people have been killed by flash floods across 13 provinces, mostly in the north, with hundreds of families displaced. The worst-affected area is Parwan, where the local hospital was destroyed. Over 500 homes have been destroyed in Parwan and 2,000 more damaged, mostly belonging to poor farmers and informal workers.

Alhamdulillah, your donations are helping vulnerable families on the ground:

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever brought his brother out of a distress, Allah will bring him out of one of the distresses of the Day of Resurrection’. [Bukhari]

Our team is on the ground in Afghanistan, providing essential foods like rice and pulses, hygiene items like soap, basic utensils like spoons and cooking pots, and clean drinking water to prevent the spread of illness.

We need your support to reach even more vulnerable families. Your donations will protect them from hunger and sickness during this devastating crisis. Give now to relieve the distress of flood survivors.
