Build a Legacy
The heart of a community'When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him' [Muslim]
A masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services.
The role of the masjid is to help people learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development. In a rural village a masjid is much more than a place for worship. Masjids are a symbol for hope and the heart of community life.
By building a masjid, you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah (swt), but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come in sha’ Allah.

Customise Your Masjid
You can customise the facilities of your mosque according to your budget, even after the project is completed. For example, you can add: prayer mats, lighting, bookshelves, air conditioning, or a dedicated women’s section.
We will work with you to build your masjid to your specification, whilst keeping the needs of the community you will be supporting in mind. For example, a water well will add benefit by providing clean water for drinking and wudu.

‘Everyone will Earn Reward for Building this Masjid’ - Imam Yaya, from a Village in Mali
For years, 500 families in a rural village in Mali were living without a masjid. Every Friday, those who were strong enough would walk to a masjid two kilometres away on narrow, rocky paths to attend the Jumu’ah prayer. On other days of the week, they would pray out in the open, whether it was in the 45 degree heat of summer or the peak of the rainy season.
Alhamdulillah, the du’as of these families were answered when a generous donor approached the Major Giving team to donate a masjid to their village, transforming their lives. Every day, they flock to their new masjid; it is the heart of the community, a place where they can contemplate, worship, learn and develop spiritually.
