Masjid Al-Aqsa: Light Up Half a Musalla
The Prophet (saw) was asked, 'If one of us cannot visit it [Al-Aqsa], what should we do?' He (saw) said, 'Then he should make a gift of some oil to be lit therein [in its lamps]. For indeed the one who gifts this to it, will be like the one who has prayed therein'. (Ahmad)
The lighting system of the historic Qibali Masjid Grand Prayer Hall was installed in 1986, and the old wiring means there is a risk of fire. We are hugely honoured to be working closely with The Hashemite Fund for the Restoration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock to install a new, state-of-the-art lighting system in Masjid Al-Aqsa.
We’re now fundraising for Phase 4 - the final phase - illuminating the central part of the Masjid and installing down lighting throughout the Masjid. We're really excited to be lighting up this blessed space, so for every £250 donation you give, we'll gift you a bottle of olive oil - from the olive trees of Al-Aqsa!
Allah swears by these olive trees in the Qur'an, so their oil is truly priceless. It can NEVER be sold; it can only be gifted - and we're delighted to offer you this amazing gift! Stocks are limited: don't miss out on this opportunity!
£250 illuminates five square feet of this blessed space.
(Note: you can give as many £250 shares as you want - i.e. if you give £500, you will get TWO bottles of olive oil and TWO gift certificates. Simply add TWO £250 lighting shares items to your checkout basket).
