Bangladesh Is Facing One of Its Worst Flood Emergencies

Heavy monsoon rainfall, combined with upstream flooding, has caused rivers to burst their banks across Bangladesh.

Entire villages have been submerged and roads washed away, leaving many communities completely cut off from aid. Thousands of homes have been damaged while schools, health facilities and vital infrastructure have been flooded.

The worst-affected areas include Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Khagrachhari, Moulvibazar and Habiganj, with flood risks continuing to spread into Sylhet and other northern districts as river levels remain dangerously high.

Many families escaped with only the clothes they were wearing.

Now they urgently need our help.
