Surviving Winter

Keep Them Warm, Keep Them Alive

Winter weather can kill

Millions of people across the world are enduring an often brutal winter, without protection.

Families displaced by conflict and disaster and people living in poverty are forced to endure freezing nights in flimsy tents or inadeqaute housing  without warm clothing, blankets or even enough food to survive.

Unfortunately, for people facing harsh conditions without the resources they need, winter can be a death sentence. Babies and children are especially vulnerable.

Donate now to keep them warm and healthy.

Winter in the UK

Hardship is growing here in the UK. The cost of living crisis has forced millions of households to choose between heating and food, with many skipping meals simply because they cannot afford to eat.

This winter has been particularly harsh and our Open Kitchens in London, Nottingham and Manchester are serving over 500 hot meals a day to people enduring those conditions on the streets, in homes they can't afford to heat or where they are unable to cook warm, nutritious food.

Our kitchens offer a warm, welcoming environment to vulnerable people from all walks of life, but the demand for our service is ever-growing. With your support we can be there for low-income families, rough sleepers and anyone else who needs us, 365 days a year, seven days a week.
