‘The worst man-made humanitarian crisis of our time’ - UN.

The war in Yemen has turned a poor country into a humanitarian catastrophe. Currently, two out of three Yemenis can't afford to buy food. To tackle this famine, we're setting up two new bread factories in Yemen, in the north in Ma’rib and in the south in Aden.

The factories will feed 6,000 people every day, providing each person with two loaves of bread.

Help us run this project by purchasing flour for the factories. We're aiming to fill 10 flour containers to begin with. Each container is filled with 26,000kg of flour, enough to keep one factory running for two months.

  • £3,250 will fill a quarter of a flour container, running a factory for 15 days. It will produce 91,000 loaves of bread, feeding 45,500 people.
  • £6,500 will fill half a flour container, running a factory for one month. It will produce 182,000 loaves of bread, feeding 91,000 people.
  • £13,000 will fill a whole flour container, running a factory for two months. It will produce 364,000 loaves of bread, feeding 182,000 people.
