Right now, 830 mothers a day are dying from preventable causes (WHO). Our Motherkind maternal health campaign provides women in Afghanistan and Somalia, two of the most high-risk countries around the world, with comprehensive pre-natal and post-natal care.

Our local clinics provide trained midwives, dedicated delivery suites, vaccination programmes, medicines and vitamins as well as awareness-raising sessions on everything from nutrition to hygiene. Our Afghanistan clinic alone assists around 44,000 people each year.

Your donations can provide:

£100 - Essential medical care for 20 mothers and babies
£250 - Essential medical care for 50 mothers and babies
£500 - Essential medical care for 100 mothers and babies
£1,000 - Essential medical care for 200 mothers and babies

Please note, your Zakat and Sadaqah donations will go to our Motherkind fund and be used to support the vital work of our existing clinics as well as helping us expand our services to other high-risk areas.
