Nepal Floods
On the 26th August 2026, Nepal was hit by a sudden flash flood - destroying homes, roads and bridges. More than 480 people have been killed with over 1,000 still missing - these numbers are only expected to rise. A second flood warning has been issued and the immediate focus is on search and rescue.

Bangladesh Floods
The worst flooding in decades has devastated communities across Bangladesh. Relentless monsoon rains and rising river levels have submerged homes, destroyed livelihoods and forced hundreds of thousands of families to flee. More than 1 million people have been affected, over 267,000 families have been stranded, and dozens of people have tragically lost their lives. Rohingya refugee communities are also among those caught in the disaster.
Muslim Hands teams are already on the ground delivering life-saving emergency relief.
Venezuela Earthquake
Two massive earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck within hours of each other, causing widespread destruction across the country.
Homes, schools and public buildings have collapsed. Entire neighbourhoods have been reduced to rubble, forcing thousands of families to sleep outside with nowhere safe to go.
Survivors are facing overwhelming challenges. Many have been left without shelter, clean drinking water or access to food. Families who escaped with their lives are now struggling to survive as emergency services work tirelessly to reach affected communities.
