Orphan Iftar Pack | Muslim Hands UK

Orphan Iftar Pack

This Ramadan, help provide iftar meals for orphans in need across the world.

The Prophet (saw) said, 'Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break their fast will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest' (Tirmidhi). This Ramadan, donate an iftar pack to an orphan and their family to ensure they have enough nutritious food essentials for both sahur and iftar for the entire month. Our local experts will distribute the packs to the orphans most in need in their communities.

As we prepare for Ramadan, we want to give you the unique opportunity to gift the orphan(s) you are sponsoring an iftar food pack. Each iftar pack contains enough food for sahur and iftar throughout the month, including essentials such as rice, flour, lentils, dates, oil, sugar, pasta, canned food and other staples.

Costs vary per location:

  • £100 provides an iftar pack in emergency zones: Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan and Sudan
  • £65 provides an iftar pack in non-emergency locations: Pakistan, Malawi, Kashmir (Pakistan), Mali, Senegal, Niger, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh
  • You can also donate any amount you can to contribute to this campaign.

Note: This campaign is for Muslim Hands' existing orphan sponsors. If an orphan also receives support from another sponsor, and both donate an iftar pack, we’ll give a proportional share to this orphan and use the remainder for another orphan’s food pack.
