Major Giving - Livelihoods Sewing Training in Mali
At least 20 women in Mali will be provided with training in tailoring and modern sewing methods. Priority will be given to women who are struggling financially, widows and those with dependants.
At least 20 women in Mali will be provided with training in tailoring and modern sewing methods. Priority will be given to women who are struggling financially, widows and those with dependants. The training will last approximately 3 months.
By the time the training is completed, the women will have the required skills to start their own business where they can create, repair and sell clothes. They will also receive sewing machines/equipment to help get them started, as well as certificates for completing the course.
Donors will receive a personalised feedback report showing how their money has made a difference.
